Today, we will talk about AI Agents. It is the most important concept you cannot miss in 2024.

The essence of this chart is its ecological structure; to understand it, you need to look from the bottom up, which is why I shared the chart first.
At the bottom are giants like Google Cloud, E2B, AWS, and Azure, which primarily serve as cloud service providers and form the foundational layer of the entire AI internet. Anyone who has used COLAB knows its benefits.
Moving up, we find various general application frameworks for agents, including well-known ones like OPENAI’s GPT, as well as last year’s popular AGENTGPT, AUTOGPT, and METAGPT.
Further up are specialized AGENT services, such as Diagram for design work and Charlie for sales; or BUTTERNET, an AI that helps you design websites.
Thus, the AI AGENT ecosystem overseas has begun to take shape.
What is this ecosystem?
Not long after GPT was released, there was a saying in the investment and tech startup circles: all existing business models are worth redoing with artificial intelligence.
The AGENT ecosystem is essentially an AI-driven upgrade of these business models.
GPT is just the beginning; many tech bloggers spreading anxiety are telling you that GPT can accomplish in seconds what used to take you an hour.
However, what they don’t tell you is that in the face of most jobs with detailed requirements, GPT cannot perform well.
Because true work demands accuracy; while GPT can enhance efficiency in simple repetitive tasks, it cannot fully replace you.

A new era of enterprise forms is already emerging.
That is, enterprises based on self-iterating AI and computational power, characterized by low labor density and high intelligence intensity.

On a side note, in recent days, I discussed factory rental prices in the Pearl River Delta with relatives and friends, mentioning that in some areas, rental prices have fallen below 10 yuan/month/sqm, which surprised my relatives, as factory rents in the 1990s never fell below this level.
All of this is due to the decreasing need for large-scale human labor; consequently, it can be inferred that in the high-spec office buildings of major CBDs, the overall supply is absolutely excessive.
Because the future’s successful companies will be based on computational power and algorithmic solutions, rather than relying on the accumulation of human labor.
