What is Cursor
Cursor is an intelligent IDE designed to enhance development efficiency by providing powerful AI-assisted features that help developers write code faster and smarter. Since its launch in 2023, it has been well-received by developers. Cursor leverages the latest models provided by OpenAI to offer intelligent suggestions and assistance for various programming languages. Additionally, the Cursor editor is based on VS Code, providing all the functionalities and user interface of VS Code.
Cursor Official Website: https://www.cursor.com/

The Cursor editor can be used for free in Pro version for 14 days. After 14 days, if you wish to continue using the Pro version, you will have to purchase it. However, the free version also provides a limited number of suggestions.

If you enjoy using the Pro version but don’t want to pay after it expires, what can you do? Here, I will provide several methods to use it for free permanently.
Methods to Use Cursor for Free
Method 1: Change Email
Every new user can use it for free for 14 days. After 14 days, you can simply change your email and register again to continue using it for another 14 days. Of course, this method requires you to prepare multiple emails.
Method 2: Cancel Account
There is another way to continue using the same email without changing accounts. You can simply cancel your current account, then re-register with the same email and continue to use it as a new account for free for 14 days. This method seems to indicate a significant loophole in the Cursor official website, but I have personally tested it, and it does work.

Method 3: Use Infinite Emails
Register a 2925 email. For example:
-
Create a main email:
<span><span>[email protected]</span></span>
email. -
You can register an account using:
<span><span>[email protected]</span></span>
and the main email can receive the verification code. -
Once the trial period of the previous email account ends, you can use
<span><span>[email protected]</span></span>
to continue registering and using it, and so on.
