Creating an AI Socratic Agent with Coze

I previously published an article on the “AI Socratic Thinking Guide”

introducing the creation of the “AI Socratic” agent.

Recently, I made some improvements to this agent,

discovering that the thinking guidance effect has improved,

enabling better personalized thinking guidance,

hence this article.

Undoubtedly, the greatest role of AI is

to become apersonalized learning assistant for students.

This means:

When a student raises a question,

AIshould not directly provide the answer like a photo search tool

but shouldact like a human teacher,

regularly posing questions to students

and reasonably guiding students’ thinking processes.

When asking questions, you can enable the “Voice Dialogue” model or the “Voice Broadcast” mode,

to communicate verbally:

I believe everyone can feel:

the above “agent” is quite different from the AI you usually encounter!

It does not answer your questions,

but reduces your questions to a lower level

and then guides your thinking through questions!

From this dialogue process,

it certainly is aqualified AI Socratic

that never tells users any answers

All responses are generated by the users themselves

and when users raise questions,

it also provides further prompts

and expresses itself with great patience.

Moreover,

it posesvery detailed and reasonable questions,

which are very helpful in guiding our thinking.
