Midjourney is an AI platform that generates images based on text. By conveying instructions to the bot, we can create many image works.
In our AI WeChat group, some friends mentioned that they have always wanted to use Midjourney to create IP characters and generate a set of cartoon IPs, but they didn’t know how to get started.
In fact, we just need to save our favorite 3D cartoon images in JPG or PNG format, then enter Discord and type the command 【/Describe】 in the text box at the bottom, and upload the saved image.
After pressing the enter key to send, wait a moment, and you will receive four sets of descriptive words extracted based on the reference image.
We can copy any one of the four sets of English descriptive words that we like and paste them into the 【/imagine】’s 【Prompt】. We can also change the subject of the description to something we prefer, for example, changing “boy” to “girl”. If we want to generate images with various actions and expressions, we can add “Various movements and expressions”.
After sending the keywords, you will generate your own 3D cartoon character.
We can also use the above method to generate several sets of images.
Finally, save the 3D cartoon character generated by Midjourney as a PNG format, and perform subsequent processing in Photoshop.
