1. Project Overview
The “Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence” project is an online course offered by Singapore Public University. This course expands the foundational knowledge and professional skills in machine learning through interactive case studies and theoretical explanations, enhancing students’ deep understanding of skills in artificial intelligence.
Course content includes: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, Introduction to Machine Learning, Supervised Machine Learning Algorithms, Use of Machine Learning Tools and Resources, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Deep Neural Networks for Natural Language Processing, Time Series Analysis, Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence, Technological Innovation and Intellectual Property.

The total cost of the project is 3980 RMB per person.
4. Enrollment Requirements
1. Limited to full-time graduate students in artificial intelligence and big data-related majors; must have excellent grades, good moral character, no disciplinary actions during their studies, and be in good physical and mental health to complete online learning tasks successfully.
2. English proficiency: TOEFL 79, or IELTS 6.0, or College English Test Band 4 500, or College English Test Band 6 470; or Duolingo 105.
3. Relevant major in artificial intelligence and big data.
5. Assessment and Evaluation
The course assessment will consist of classroom performance, project assignments, learning reflections, and research reports. Each course will set the weight according to the course design and assessment plan of the instructor. Those who pass the assessment will receive a transcript and a course completion certificate issued by the relevant department of Singapore Public University.
6. Enrollment Process and Admission Method
Students submit paper enrollment materials to the college – the college reviews and agrees, then submits to the international office – Singapore Public University reviews the enrollment materials – pay the project fee – enrollment successful.
7. Project Enrollment Time and Materials
Please submit the following paper materials to Room 227, Dezheng Building, West Campus by June 30, 2022:
(1) “Student Enrollment Information Summary Form for the Online Project at Singapore Public University” (please have the college fill it out and stamp it)
(2) “Application Form for Guizhou University Students to Study Abroad”
(3) Valid English proficiency certificate.
8. Scholarship Application
Students participating in this project who complete the course and meet the graduation requirements can apply for the “Thousand People Study Abroad Program” scholarship from Guizhou University 2022. Please pay attention to further notifications or consult the international office.
