Exploring Generative AI Tools,
Empowering Teachers to Efficiently Create Courseware
In today’s digital age, the education sector is undergoing unprecedented transformations, and the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has brought about new opportunities and support. To leverage the power of artificial intelligence, injecting new vitality into teaching, and to create courseware more efficiently, vividly, and creatively, on February 26, our school held a training session themed “Using AI Tools to Assist Teachers in Courseware Production” in the multimedia classroom 213 of the comprehensive building. This training was conducted by Teacher Xie Zhiwei from the Information Center, with all teachers from the senior grade participating.
Before the training began, the director of the Information Center, Zheng Lijian, briefly introduced the content of the training, expressed expectations for teachers to use generative AI tools to empower education, and emphasized the importance of generative AI in the education sector and its wide application prospects in the context of the current information age.
During the training, Teacher Xie Zhiwei elaborated on the powerful features of the DeepSeek and Kimi tools, covering how to quickly build PPT outlines, fill in content, and transform text into vivid slides. He emphasized the intelligent features of DeepSeek, such as its ability to automatically generate clear frameworks, provide rich materials, and support multiple output formats; demonstrated many capabilities of Kimi for efficiently creating PPTs, including one-click generation, intelligent layout beautification, and template selection. These features can significantly save teachers’ time, thereby improving work efficiency.
At the end of the training, Liu Ang, the deputy director of the academic affairs office, gave a summary speech. He emphasized the importance of mastering generative AI tools to assist in educational work in the information age. At the same time, he encouraged everyone to apply the knowledge and skills learned to their actual work, continuously enhancing their professional qualities and comprehensive abilities.
